A tropical Bahamian breakfast and afternoon tea , included in the rate and often taken on the verandah, is a family production, as are dinners that are available on request. Various aunts and cousins create freshly baked bread, Johnny cake, pepper jam, and concoctions from the garden's bounty such as mango tart and coconut cream pie. Proprietor Iris Dillet, working in what was her mother Olga's kitchen, makes a legendary chocolate cake that is popular in local restaurants.

Dillet's offers seven large tropical guestrooms whose names and driftwood door art honor an island fruit: jujube, guava, papaya, mango, tamarind, soursop, and sapodilla. All feature white walls and bamboo-and-wicker furniture, the latter freshly painted sage in spring 2003. Much of the artwork was created by a family member, a renowned Bahamian artist whose studio is in a cottage in the garden. Five rooms include kitchenettes. Small baths offer showers, and some have tubs. All rooms are non-smoking and do not include phones.
